does anybody know where AK696 comes from. I spotted it this morning at bout 6.30 on the way to work heading south on the mitchell freeway . Looked very similar to the old TK104 and was thinking they where using them up at kings park looking for the escapee

AK = Goldfields-Esperance region. 696 from memory would be district support of some kind, possibly canine.

that would make sense it being canine section by the look of the car. It was also fitted with the MX9000 light bar similar to the old TK104

That's three now they have got. I would have thought being the city division they would have all paddy wagons, so I presume this is heading this way

GW107 is now a Falcon.

GS104 is still an old VE commodore Wagon

Might be old news but apparently Mandurah is now part of the "Metro" area and Boddington (formerly OB***) is now part of the Great Southern (LI***).
