Hi Diannpf.

You'll find the list of channels and frequencies here

The WA police splits the metropolitain area into various districts, so you only need to pick one channel from each district to listen to. Our list uses slightly out of date names for them but the channels are the same.

The local channel for Maddington would be channel 2 or 8.

For listening to all of Perth, as a guide I'd program in these channels:

26, 23, 8, 47, 21, 48, 54, 34, 58

Hi
Basically by programming a frequency into your scanner it becomes saved on a channel depending on which number/ channel you programmed it into!
Eg. I programmed and therefore saved the frequency 467.8750 into my scanner on channel 2. You can save a frequency onto any channel in your scanner.

Hope my explanation helps! :)
