New VKI staff

Hi all,

I heard on the Joondalup channel (41) tonight what appeared to be some new recruits.

There was an english guy and an australian lady taking turns having a go at dispatching jobs.

The aussie lady was very quick (too quick!) on the mic and she cut off one of the warwick vehicles on their over and had to repeat what she said.

Shortly after, an experienced operator jumped back on the channel and took control.

Thought some of you may be interested....

Cheers
Bonez

One thing I hate is when someone cuts you off over the radio.... especially when you have an urgent message and some **** is talking bullgibberish

50

Similar note the 34/city channel is shocking these days (I'm guessing analogue only) keeps cutting out through words...

Youve gotta crawl befor you can walk ,im sure they have been trained proplerly, its just a matter of getting over how many people are listening and JUDGING you. Good luck to them, personaly i dont have any worries about beeing heard, unless their infront of me and im on a stage. Plenty of time on a UHF CB builds the confidence up.
