To tell ya the truth. Multinovas dont broadcast over the radio network in regards to their positions and what direction of traffic they are looking at. You will only hear TE vehicle doing a welfare check and thats it. Even same goes for normal plain and unmarked traffic cars, they dont go out of the way to say im on the brand heading south or whatever. Its different out here in country then compared to metro.

I do alot of traffic on the brand and not once have i needed to broadcast my location or to let northam ops room know im doing traffic. We (country stations) are mostly independant and use northam for mainly name and rego checks.

I hear camera ops setting up all the time in the suburbs. Some of their 'voices' are quite familiar now. Especially one guy who sounds totally posh

In perth?? They still call in in perth advising of location, evidently they don't do this in the country which is what HM-106 is saying.

Yeah - I hear multinova's on metro channels calling their locations quite regularly in the northern suburbs.
