Attended the Greek Easter festivities at a Greek church in the city over the weekend and the Governor Dr Ken Michael was there - noted 4 plain clothed AFP guys there... - Noted a white unmarked White VE Commodore with front and rear strobes belonging to them, escorting the Governor's chauffeured white statesman...

Auntys_eyes, note I've already said that I know they're under the banner hence I'm well aware what it stands for.

I'm talking about how they're defined in the act.

To stop displaying signatures, go to the User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options > Display signatures > No > Submit

how would You know they are afp. they could be state Security.
which are serving police officers in plain.

with just gun and bagde and cuffs. why would AFP escorting him for?

Lies. There isn't a single job in the AFP that has that prerequisite.
i was trying to say ask those members as they probly know more than You do. about AFP.im sure walks wants to get out of the jpb and get better one. so he may know more about AFP

When we join the AFP they stamp us on the forehead, he must have seen the stamps :) :)

AFP looks after the security of Federal Members of Parliment and the GG, always in close liasion with the state Police Service.

They also look after High Profile/Possible Target overseas visiting Dignitaries, Leaders and Politicians

Oh... and Torches :lol: :lol:

in the city the other (anzac day about 7.30) day i saw a ford 4wd (explorer i think) white and it had loads of aerials on it and one of the guys showed a badge when he drove through the blockade. Is this AFP?
