2 x odd police cars.

Gday all.. I was driving along the Graham Farmer Fwy this evening and parked just on the enterance to Belmont Park Raceway was 2 VZ Commodores, Both plain white no markings at all. The both had HF antennae and both had really cool LED Red/Blue lightbars flashing. GC112 (city support) was infront of me driving along and they slowed right down to have a look but continued on their way.

wiiiish i had of got a photo.

would anyone have any idea as to who they could be? or maybe they were just 'naked' WAPol vehicles?

Were they actual lightbars on the roof or just inside the front/rear?

They were actual light bars on the roof. looked prett ymuch like a normal WApol vehicle minus the signage. the lightbar was LED too and it seemed to have red and blue on each side.. red on top blue on bottom.. it was an interesting sequence

I guess without pics it is hard to tell but if they weren't police there not much more they 'should' be.

maybe in the process of getting badging etc.. added

or maybe they were testing them, e.g to see how they perform for future use.

there is a dept in wapol that is primarily focused with the trialling of new systems, tech.

saw ZB102, hell young 17yo with P plate,driving into the city this morning.

gotta say, he was diffenly not getting coffee that for sure.

They sure do. Most of there vehicles are red however. I dare say they were Federal Police vehicles... Were the lights like the ones in this video at about 20 secs in?

Ive seen same cars at Tullamarine Airport earlier this year. They were APS/Federal Police

very much the same matey.. though they didnt have a message board. but almost identical. i thinks it could of been AFP
