I've also met Const. Butcher, very friendly and what I like to see in all officers.

Hope he pulls through, and I hope the POI gets locked up for a very, very long time.

Seems like Mr Carpeneter in the west the other day took a back step with going the heavy penalities for those assualting police.

I do agree that all penalties should be firm across the board

In regards to taking a back foot... I can see a new government at this years state election.. They have really stuffed things up lately. As for the penalties, McGinty has never liked Police so there is no surprises there. Hope Const. Butcher recovers and is back on the beat soon. My thoughts are with his family.

Never did trust a labour government, then again the liberals haven't been too organised!

Dont worry playworth, Toottoot is just trying to raise his popularity by insulting people.

Sorry playworth I didn't mean it as an insult, hence the :). I thought that had been made clear in another thread somewhere....

Notwithstanding this, some people are very fortunate to have been born in this country as they would now not be allowed through immigration without an adequate command of the Queen's English.

It shouldn't be limited to Police. Should apply to any public officer, so including ambos, fireys, rangers etc..
