467.9500 - Constant beeping?

I keep getting this anoyying beeping sound on channel 5 anyone else getting this?

Nothing down in Perth
To stop displaying signatures, go to the User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options > Display signatures > No > Submit

Yeah, I think its something to do with the Dongara repeater because Mingenew had a car out and they were saying the repeater was cutting in and out so they were using hf or something, im not sure.

Hearing it here in Perth tonight because of the favourable conditions.

Definitely hearing a low frequency tone for awhile after transmissions. It's encoded with the right CTCSS tone so it appears to be coming from/through the repeater for whatever reason...

Have been good conditions on VHF and UHF tonight. It seems as though a huge group of country channels are linked together through Northam base at night...

Yep - Northam police are usually only able to be heard on the Northam and Baker's Hill repeaters. There are two other "branches", one going north and west through Moora, Jurien etc, the other east through Cunderdin, Kellerberrin/Doodlakine, Merredin etc.

Could it be the tone the repeater spits out when theres a fault? Used to get them every now and then around Perth, particularly if the power was out at the repeater site..
