Did anyone hear what was happening in Morrison Road (I assume Midland area) last night around 10.30pm???

It was not on 46, but involved alot of HM, HF, UQ vehicles. They were cordoning off an area, had an ambulance on standby. I think I came in at the end as they were freeing cars and requesting they attend a de-briefing.

Armed offender outside Midland Police Station. In a Vehicle with a Shotgun. Everone was there. Even TRG and there new vehicle. Although, they missed out, good old 79ers resolved the situation. Looked good how they pounced!!!!!!!!! I wont name anyone involved but one of the boys is always on this site, so he knows who I'm talking to when I say "well done". Although I suppose they have pissed off the TRG, because they weren't quick enough. At least they got to drive there new vehicle to midland, LOL

Thanks for putting me out of my misery. Did the media happen to go? Would love to see some more footage of the TRG's new toy.

Started when a member of the public reported having a rifle pointed at them from a vehicle at the inersection of Morrison & Gt Northern Hwy (2 blocks from Midland Station). As most Midland cars were tasking (including a house fire in Swan View), VKI was trying to get a vehicle and/or members from the station to check it out. Whilst this was being organised the vehicle arrived outside the station and started repeatedly blowing its horn. That is when the situation cranked up. It took some time for officers to confirm the presence and type of weapon (he eventually waved a shotgun out of the car's window). Once the Delta crews started arriving the operation went in to full swing with a large area courdon, TRG, negotiator, stingers at each end of the street and SJA standing by. Requested to move to channel 1018 digital, but due to delays in fiiting digital into Midland District cars it was linked to analogue channel 3 . Peaceful resolution with Delta officers taking "one in to custody". POI last seen being 'escorted' into Midland Station (after someone came and unlocked the doors ).
