You won't hear a thing, Polair to ground comms over the last couple of days in North West Metro have been on digital call groups.

Guess one might aswell get used to it cause soon no-one will hear WAPOL

You will always hear voice comms from VKI to units, its only the jobs, that are digital, I heard Polair yersterday on Ch 21

No not always, with heavy attendance events and jobs they can and will switch to another digital talk group. So no, you won't 'always' hear them anymore.

what happen if GD is in city bit not doing operation, but see sumthing and need back up and the only closest unit would be operation officer, coz u go onto the channel and transmit?

VKI would have to arrange backup. Unless op's unit's radio's were logged on GD talkgroup.
