Chase involving armed P.O.I in the city

Anyone hear the drama's in the City late this afternoon.

Channel 38 - VKI - broadcasted an order to shutdown Riverside Drive.

I only heard bits and pieces - a guy had 3 guns - anyone else hear this on the beats channel?

Hey gkoutlis was in the city when this call came though.Went down to have a look.Cops where in bulletpoof vests.Report was man armed with two handguns.But it turned out to be one toy gun.Victoria ave near st georges tce and victoria ave and terrace rd where blocked off.Offender arrested outside family law courts.

I was driving around the round about coming off the causeway heading to the Rally at the exact time this was happening. We heard the sound of sirens and then a sea of Police cars flew past.

Didnt know what was happening at the time but now I know.

I was just leaving work (not in the city though) and listened to it from 1730. There were two CD cars directing it with City Support. It was happening so fast that VKI gave the CD cars and CS control of the channel for a few min. They then coordinated taking the guy down, and they confirmed it was a toy gun.
