looks like WA is beginning to go down the eastern states road with coloured police vehicles. I dont know what others think but I dont like it.

i love it and think its a great idea.

The purpose of having the police car bionic blue is to make it stand out more and also provide a PR boost, especially at special events.

Also the signs before the multinova's are a wonderful idea cause now they can slow people down even when there isnt always a camera, which further down the line they may end up doing.

That I dont mind but I wouldnt mind betting this wont be the last coloured car, there will be many many more to come. This is how it started over east "Just one for PR", now there is a marked coloured car everywhere!

So how is the lightbar expirmental ?

Seems like it just has led flashers on the bottom to me and apart from that just a normal bar.

Saw it in the flesh tonight/this morning. Nice looking vehicle, especially the logo-ed bonnet.

I wouldn't mind seeing a small fleet of them on the roads. Not every one, though... I think the current TEG ones look tough enough.

Tom, id love to know who your source is as only few people knew about it.

Also, regarding other colours in the east, you will find that they only have 1 colour at a time, albeit they tend to change it with new models. The only one that strays from this is NSW in the mountains where there is snow.

WAPOL has already been running different coloured marked vehicles - eg - Silver Highway Patrol
