WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Hello, I tried to listen to my scanner last night but every channel was just static. Is anyone else having trouble.

Thanks but the squelch is not fixing the problem. I have an outside antenna and a small one for inside but all i am getting is hissing. Ive reset it, and changed the batteries. Not sure what is happening. Grrr lol.

ummm you are in Perth arent you?? if you are then there could be a problem with your radio. reason why i ask if you are in perth as i know there are some over east members here and police in Sydney for example now are digital and all you will hear is static and nothing else

yep i am in perth, i might need to take it in to get checked somewhere.

the network changed over the digital yesterday on all chanels, hence the static

ehhhhh. all police are meant to have the lil screens and new radios but half the police vans dont even hav them yet. how could this be true in what your saying yes2day?

So now all of the scanners we currantly have are of no use to listen to? Mmmm

dont think so. ch 50 all good. not sure about ch 41 or 21. in my believe i think ch 21 would b the 1st to go off out scanners.

I am still new to this ...bit late i know... but im not sure about channels...what about frequencies, is there any that you know of that are still active?

I'm still receiving all channels no probs..
