Just an observation..Tom wrote:You taking the piss or being sarcastic fastlane?

being a scanner user and knowing how much of a problem 'rubber neckers' cause at incidents for our emergency services, I would've hoped you would've thought better than to 'cruise past' (a back street too).. that was my somewhat veiled point.Tom wrote:I was actually at Phoenix Holden and saw the smoke so I cruised past.
yes, the general public does just this.. but having a bit more insight into such things by listening to it..
I went to this too - and no, I wasnt in the area - I heard it on the scanner and went down and filmed it. What are you gonna do?
Sadly in the end it was a suicide but dam that house looked like a bomb went off. There were about three more minor booms while I was there.
I believe it was gas + match = kapow. There was some talk about fireworks being kept in the house too but that is from a neighbour - nothing official of course. It definately looked like a bomb went off. Downtown Baghdad comes to mind.
Cheers to 'thrill of the Chase' for the sms. I couldnt reply for some reason?
Over and out.
Edit: Tom you must have seen me! Why didnt you say hi!? I only spotted one dude with a half decent camera so that must have been you. I pictured you to be older and wearing a cowboy hat for some reason. Dont ask me why.

Re: wanneroo/hocking
Yeah i heard when the guy arrived at the police road block saying his mate called him to come over. The police went to 26 and asked for the guy at the explosion scene and if he had called his mate. Obviously he was deceased at the time.newton wrote:guy blew his house up and apparentely he was inside. Let me see.. its your job? Very different.Turbo wrote:I went to this too - and no, I wasnt in the area - I heard it on the scanner and went down and filmed it. What are you gonna do?
That's quite OK though.. if it'd been anyone else that had done it, there would be a big uproar as there has been in the past.. but no, in this case it was Tom, so its ALL OK!
Talk about hypocrisy..
cyas!
Yep that was me - and I did see you. I was the guy without the goatie. Yeah, 27 is old.Tom wrote:Hey Turbo,
I saw a couple of dudes with camera gear set-up behind the albino NX101. The thought crossed my mind it could of been you.
Nah the cowboy-hat wasn't me... . I just had shorts and a t-shift on. Solid red headed fellow. I'm 27 not sure if you'd call that 'older'..
cheers
