Got to agree though police/ambos weren't informed early enough about there plans, but I guess that mean there will most likely be less people at the city? So they wouldn't have to drag as many officers from other areas as they will be needed north and south now?

Lets hope your right, the thing im banking on is in smaller numbers yobbo's dont seem to have the same level of guts then they do in a large group of people
perhaps we all might be able to sit in south perth this year and watch the sky for fireworks and not bottles

its just so sad that its a day for families to enjoy and the length we have to go to just to stop the NOBS of the world buggering it up
I remember when i was growing up every new years eve the biggest threat a copper faced was being kissed by an ugly girl. now its all shields and battons

I'll be at the applecross foreshore. The most peacefull place to enjoy the day. Still, I'll have my scanner on hand for shits and giggles.

Perhaps not, but seeing some lowlife make a fool of himself and get carted away definitely scores high on my amusement scale
