I got pulled over a while ago, the officer had a jumper on it with a MIG logo imprinted on it. He was als wearing a holster(and obviously the gun) around his leg, he didn't look unconfortable in it. That is the first time I have seen a holster worn around the leg before

The Thigh Hoslters are just being trialled at the moment. There are only 3 trialling them at perth on the normal shifts.

TRG and I believe Migs have them full time.

They are going to be trialling a multi purpose vest soon that disributes the weight better. The vests will carry the cuffs, spray, baton and radio and I think the spare glock magazine. I believe they will be coming out in a couple of months for the trial.

When I was filming the few armed holdups a couple of months ago (Subway) the police officer there had a thigh holster. He was ex-mig though.

Whoever gets chosen to trial them keeps them until the trial is finished. I believe that I may be one of the ones trialing the new vests. Will find out soon.

Are you a qualified P1 driver though?

If not you have no chance

besides only TEGS MIGS TRAFFIC and a few other specialist areas get them.

GD'S have no need for them :!: (waits for the flaming to begin)

We are entitled to have an SV6, so guess that means we can have a Turbo......
To be honest though in Gd's they are not practical, The normal sedans with Steel rims do the trick... Although I would not complain if I were given one........ My bonus is Taser coming my way

Yeah if you have an SV6 you can get a XR6T

And having 17 inch rims makes curb hoping that little bit more harder
