I got pulled over a while ago, the officer had a jumper on it with a MIG logo imprinted on it. He was als wearing a holster(and obviously the gun) around his leg, he didn't look unconfortable in it. The Thigh Hoslters are just being trialled at the moment. There are only 3 trialling them at perth on the normal shifts.
TRG and I believe Migs have them full time.
They are going to be trialling a multi purpose vest soon that disributes the weight better. The vests will carry the cuffs, spray, baton and radio and I think the spare glock magazine. I believe they will be coming out in a couple of months for the trial.

To be honest though in Gd's they are not practical, The normal sedans with Steel rims do the trick... Although I would not complain if I were given one........ My bonus is Taser coming my way
