Could not agree with you more GC101, very brave effort by the Transits. As said before it was above and beyond the call of duty.

I think Transits would benefit greatly from OC spray, had these offenders copped a face full of OC they may have been more inclined to disperse, rather than attack the Guards.

My $0.02.

Those ASP batons looked a bit ridiculous and in effective. Ive heard that if used correctly they can be quite effective...But i'd rather see the old steel tonfa style baton in use. Crack some skulls. :smt065

[/quote]there was good CCTV footage shown on the news,

All the vision was from the News@Night crew.

There was another big brawl opposite the Paramount (no suprises).
Later around 3:30am.

This was between Africans & Ozies with bottles being thrown.
Unfortunately the fighting ened before the camera was running.

I also witness an ausie getting king hit earlier in the night on Lake st.
This was unprovoked, the "local" boys just punched him as he passed.
Lucky for him he landed ok & they did not put in the boot while he was
down on the gound.

Perth is getting bad but I fear it will get worse to much agro in the air.
What is said is not important.
What is heard is all that matters.

They'll probably get off using the old excuses of "affected by drugs, has a drug problem" or the really good one "they come from a broken home". Any excuse as long as it gets them off. Give the guards 15 minutes unrestricted access to meter out the punishment...send a real message.
