polair 61 chucking like 15 laps around the city right now. hmmmm, i thought pigs didn't fly.

Dunno exactly what was happening, but heard on Perth Approach airband freq Polair 61 requesting clearance to enter controlled airspace to "pick people up and do some photo shoots" about 2/3 hrs ago- hope that helps?

If I can remember well enought I can remember reading somewhere in this forum about a tshirt one of the pol air pilots were wearing stating something about Who says pigs dont fly? With the wapol logo on it. Yes police do have a sense of humour and I sm sure they understand. As for why they were flying around my guess is it is to do with the air race this Sunday.
