Guys, I'm trying to find some photos of the old Aerospatiel Twin Squirrel and the BK117.
Oh, if you've got any of the RAC rescue choppers, that'd be great to.
Cheers.

Cheers mate, can't for the life of me find the old POLAIR 1, the twin Squirrel. I've registered at Airliners.net so will keep looking.doogues71 wrote:Brett you'd be best to try this website.airliners.net.It's got photos of all the aircrafts and airliners in the world.Tryyed to do a link but wouldn't work.
Hey Mr G, bout time you came back mate, how you been?
From reliable source - Polair 1 crashed in Kelmscott on 8 May 1992 whilst attempting to land for a public display.....
Here is the Bureau of Air Safety Investigation accident report, which includes a photo of the helicopter (when it was burning):

Incidentally, later the tailboom of VH-NJL was recovered and was seen in he WA Police hangar at Jandakot, sticking out from the wall, near the roof.
I may have some photos somewhere of the helo before the accident, and I may also have a photo of the tailboom in their hangar, but will have to check later
