Thanks Sideshow, no I'm not on Twitter so I didn't understand most of what you said :o Sounds like a handy service though.
I'm hoping more for something that can be downloaded and processed by an application as can be done with RSS/Atom.
Apparently in many US states and Eu countries they make data available with incident type and GPS coordinates so it can be downloaded and shown on a map on a PC.... perhaps on tracking software etc. MRD has something very close on their website but no coordinates :(
