Interesting, the "reported" sticker suggests an old rollover? maybe during the night and absconded??
Those stituations really s@#t me once one of those stickers has been put on why can't the council remove the vehicle to a holding yard or something (owner pays tow fee or car is sold to cover fee if not claimed perhaps).
Instead it usually sits on the side on the road for a couple of weeks until every window is smahsed, every panel is bashed and eventually it's burnt to a glob of metal on the ground leaving a whole heap of littered bushland. Great for the environment hey.
Anyway just my 2 cents

Different sticker for vehicle roadworthiness, the Vehicle Reported stickers are put on usually by Rangers after it has been reported to council, funnily enough, or been left abandoned, like this one after an accident.Tom wrote:Coppers put 'Vehicle reported' stickers on.
Check out the dodgy rims, it's got 3 alloys on and a 14" spare.
Different sizes on the car!!
Saw the rangers put one on an abandoned vehicle at Pinnaroo, same kind of sticker. As it stayed there for another 3 days I think they leave them to be claimed and then tow them away.

Yes, I agree on this one JG-103... I thought that was why Gav decided to make a new thread for 'pursuits and major operations'? I think an abandoned car wouldn't be considered either of those.... IMO

Maybe an abandoned car and reported sticker comes under the "and other events" part of the threadJG-103 wrote:Admin wrote:This thread is to discuss pursuits and other events like major operations.
Like GC101 said, often there's a little side line to a current thread which is pointless stating up a new one for...
