Yeah these have been around for at least 3 months, I saw one packing up on Beechboro Rd Northbound a while back now.
For some reason there was 2 people in the vehicle as well, training perhaps.

Cheers CC - wouldn't they just get a TE-4xx number? From the multinova cars that i've seen, no Callsign has been painted on them, for obvious reasons, so - im guessing they'd still use a TE-4xx number.....
Thats correct - they would be issued a TE - 4xx number but it would not be applied to the vehicle.
Cheers CC

To ask a dumb question here... why not? Why wouldn't Multanova vehicles be labelled with their callsign?
If they are undertaking police business (as we're lead to believe) and not revenue raising then it should look like a police vehicle.

Because their function is meant to be relatively "covert" perhaps?
Not that it helps of course, you can often spot the white vans parked at the side of the road. I mean *really* ... who thought of getting a WHITE van that stands out like the proverbial dog's danglies???
Having said that, there's this white vehicle very similar to the Multanova operators ones that parks out the front of a house on Morley drive that gets me every time - I always look down just to make sure I'm doing 70. Then I pass the vehicle, notice the Optus sticker on the side and go "oh yeah, him again!"
