Took these about 10years ago when I was still at school. Might be of interest to some members.

S521 Falcon XG paddywagon from Vic Park

Image

V2 from the old Independent Patrol Group (IPG) 6cyl VS Commo

Image

T80 a VS V8 Commodore traffic car

Image

T361 also a VS 8cyl from Freo Traffic, note the SS interior!

Image

Image

VR 8cyl at the old Traffic base in Gero, car is also in the old old WAPOL colours. From memory this was T710.

Feel free to comment.

Image

T18 another VS V8 doing an escort from memory, just shows how old those Code3/MX7000 light-bars are.

Image

S339 from Cannington, back in the days when Cannington station was an old converted house on the corner of Albany Hwy and Nicholson rd I think it was, but I stand to be corrected.

Image

T015 another VS V8 from Central traffic

Image

An EF 5.0l parked outside the old traffic office in Gero...friendly guys up there.

Image

G2 an old Mazda bravo from Central. Central cars used to carry Golf callsings instead of Sierra as the usual GD's cars did.

Image

S346 from Claremont, a VS Comm 6cyl. I remember the first time I ever drove a VS ecotec thinking how fast it was compared to the old Buick donks in the VN-VR's.

Hehe wow...

When you look at those pics it really makes you realise how much the cars have changed. 10yrs doesn't feel like it was very long ago. :P

I'll show you the original when I see ya next.

If it is you you've lost a lot of weight in the face....that guy driving is a 'big' bloke..

It's also hard to tell coz I 'buffed' the shots in photoshop so you couldn't see the faces clearly.

I've got a few more which i'll post soon.

Back in the days pre rescue 65 a skydiving accident at York. SJA was sent to York with a trauma DR and the chopper met them up there to airlift the patient back to RPH.

Ambulance 41 was from Morley (it was one of the last Fords in the metro fleet)

It's the one depicted in the photo that Tom supplied - VS with SS interior.

In the sunshine at the right angle you can clearly see T 361 on the roof...

I will have to let them know to look on this site!
