I just heard on 6PR that there was some kind of operation happening in Morley around 2-3pm this afternoon... A sergeant came on the radio to speak as a concerned listener phoned up as they drove past a large gathering of WAPOL vehicles. Apparently as a result of a vehicle stop, the persons in the vehicle decamped and officers gave chase. One in the vehicle has been apprehended. A 9mm pistol was located nearby as well as other items in the car that the seargant couldn't elaborate on at the moment. He also said they were now interviewing 9 people at Morley station in relation to this incident. Anyone hear anything more about it?

Drove past this one on my way home today. There were two marked Morley cars and a roggies car stopped near morley dr. Behind that was a commodore station wagon with a film crew. They were standing in the front yard of a house with about four other people.
