Police open day
Great pics!!!!Thanks for sharing.Couldn't out to see it myself so this is the next best thing.
So for those who did go... What are your thoughts on the day...
may fav bit was when they were doin the mock arrest of an armed offender and the bobby would say "driver of the vechile take ur left arm and open the door" and then "driver of the vechile take ur left arm and put it on your head" so i thought i would be funny to yell out simon didn't say though... that got a few laughs

Also, I now know why some cars have two UHF antennas.
Some cars have an old Motorola Syntrix (the one with the brown remote/microphone) and a newer Tait T2020. The T2020 can do scanning and TX on UHF CB and all sorts of fun stuff, whereas they leave the Motorola on their district's channel.
Interesting...

Re: WA Police Acadamy open day photos
Is that Open Day the one and only they'll ever have? I thought it was interesting, would love to see another one.

Last year or the year before I can't remember was cancelled and no others were spoken of
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

I thought all those Eyebrow type ambulances had been removed from metro ops. to many complaints that the lights are not visible enough
