TADIS not TARDIS? Phew. For a moment there I thought the WA Police were enlisting the help of time machines in the pursuit of criminals!

I wonder what affect WAPOL going digital will have on this forum. Considering it seems the majority of the posts and listening is WAPOL related. Will people move to listening to other agencies and another part of the forum start to flourish? It will be interesting to see what transpires...

I reckon it'll definitely quiet down. It sure won't be the same but I think most of us have come to realise this by now.

You can just see what all the WAPOL members are hanging out for, the day where they can give us a big Nelson Munce style "Haha!" perhaps followed by an "Up yours Seymour" (Simpsons) Lol :smt045

The thing that sucks is even the coppers can't listen in off duty any more.

Well yeh. Like today heard TE203 call in to VKI "We will book clear and updated TADIS but we are unsure if it has worked or not"
VKI said "Yeh roger it looks like it has as its not there anymore"

Remember they are only trialing Tidas and not the digital network that happens (I think) in February 2007.

Just curious as to how you get these items then decide to sell them :-k

i buy them direct from /\/\otorola and suppy them to my contacts with the SJA and other agencies. The ones i sell are surplus to my requirements that have been flashed for full digital, trunking and voting operation with some units running encryption also. all my radios are shipped fully programmed to run on particular emergency services systems.

if u need to know more, dont hesitate to ask.
