We will just have to watch tonight then!

Siren can't be any worse than the current ambulance type... Wail sounds so depressing.

Interesting. Looks to be inspired from British police car designs.

As seen on Instragram, now also using a Hyundai Genesis as a marked car:

They look ugly, gaudy, and out of shape.

Cool Rumbler siren though. Should outdo the basic wailers found on most DFES gear.

TE216 Commodore passing the city had a new siren, dual tone but no rumbler. Very American sounding with two wails going at the same time but differently timed, very loud.

Back when this post was first made, the vehicles pictured used the same WAPol spec Hazard 1000 series sirens, however they wired in an additional Code3 Bansheee siren to work with the SLIC controller. This allowed you to play the Hazard mix and Code3 Banshee tones all at once, and get two wails and a yelp to play at once!

Now days WAPol just uses the Code3 DNA siren, which is programmed with the Hazard 1000 Series WAPol tones and Banshee tones.
