Northam seem to be using ch65 analogue.

Slightly distorted, brief transmission - didn't get a chance to fix the levels. Linked repeater network too (clunk, clunk, clunk), so probably still more analogue use out there.

Just heard Northam using channel 42.

I don't know why I heard them on channel 65 a little while ago. Night-time linking when stations are closed, maybe?

Are you sure? I've been able to hear them here in the past, and I've had my scanner on "search and store" mode on the old analogue channels, but haven't logged anything for the last few weeks.

So far I've got activity on ch 11, 28, 42 and 65. Mostly Northam.

Ch 11 appears to be the nearest to Perth end of a great big linked network through Narrogin, Boddington, etc all the way down to Albany. Very low use and incredibly awful audio. I've put it in on the scan group on the UHF side of the DFES stream. Who knows, you might hear something? :)

Interesting. That ch 55 link through to Northam and York has been there for years. I wonder why it isn't digital yet?

I happened to be listening to ch 11 as the radio support guys were working on it. Fascinating conversation and it sounds a lot better now!
