I'll have a go at interpreting :D

Hey people
There wasn't an Australian Defence Force (ADF) section so...we had some old bombs turn up at work...dredging seas and in cockburn sound...anyway got ADF to come and take (them) away and I had a look at his vehicle I asked him if they could travel priority and he said yes if its urgent and also they had driver training....
Then I think he meant 'I got to write but cbf (can't be ****d) now so yer.

Sound any better???

just to add

there is a section within the defence force that has the same prioity system as the police forces...this is a federal agency to attend for uxo's
unexploded ordenances.

the officers on here may know more but these guys can overrule state regulations if they beleive that the uxo's are of a recent manufacture.

they have very extensive powers if needed especially in the current climate.

This defence capability has been around since lancelin and other areas were used for naval bombing practice but has expanded roles now.

that being said ...if you find a suspected bomb that has been there for years you might want someone to come and look at it very quickly ...lol

They did a great job up Yanchep way a few years ago exploding some sort of Navy training flare that had washed up on the beach.. shot straight into coastal heath and resulted in a rather large fire near Club Capricorn.

Way to go!

I expect next time, they might ring the Fire Brigade BEFORE detonating!
