Hi all,
Is there any way I can request what information the police have on me?
I've got a clean record, but I'm just wondering if there is anything else on my file.

I’m not sure if u can get information about your self!
But all I know you would be on the system for your MDL (Motor Drivers License)
or if you have reported anything (Victim of Assault, Break in etc..) or been a witness to a incident.

Information pertained on the WA Police IMS system is not applicable to be disclosed under Freedom of Information requests. You can apply for a Police Clearance through Australia Post which will list Court and Criminal outcomes.

Re: Requesting your information
I ordered all my information a few years ago, took a while and did cost $$ but I got it all. I think you can get any and all information held about yourself as long as its not 'intelligence' related... that is, documents held by the State Intelligence Division, Counter Terrorism and State Protection or Internal Affairs Unit.
Dont quote me though. Things may have changed. Best to call FOI office at WAPOL they were quite pleasant and helpful when I delt with them.
