Thanks WPXZBP and Tom for that.... They were tasking in the city last night - around 7pm ish - is this a normal thing?Tom wrote:That OB201 is the sole VE SV6 at the moment.
I heard on the news last night that Boddington traffic clocked a car doing about 180km/h on Albany Hwy....
TK103 is a VZ wagon now with a MX7000 L/B.

The auto elecs in Maylands is certainly being kept busy by WAPol at the moment. On the way in to work this morning their carpark car park was full with:
a) New VE Commodore, white, fully marked Highway Patrol, AY202, yet to be fitted with a light bar.
b) New VE Commodore, white, as yet unmarked, but fitted with a GDLB. Also had a 'bunny bar' with 2 large spot lights fitted, which may sugguest a possible non metro allocation.
c) New VE Commodore, silver, unmarked, no lightbar, but with classic police rims and antennae.
d) 2x new Nissan Patrols, white and unmarked, but fitted with full UHF antenna gear. May or may not be future WAPol vehicles??

From recent posts it seems there may be a few more Tom. Members have listed AZ202 and VR102 as VEs and i've seen RM/H202. There was also the silver VE that illusion posted pics of a while back.Tom wrote:That OB201 is the sole VE SV6 at the moment.

Cheers Tom, sorry allTom wrote:I think SV6 is the key word here.
Plently of VE Omega's getting about now. Bit of a difference between an Omega and a SV6.

Is there a quick and easy way (from a distance) to spot the difference between the Omega, SV6, SS etc.

Take a gander at the Holden website. You might be able to tell from the pics they have there. (I'm going to have to take a look too!)auntys_eyes wrote:Is there a quick and easy way (from a distance) to spot the difference between the Omega, SV6, SS etc.Or do you just need to get a good look at the badging?
