I remember the original whisky call signs when they were based at Warwick back in the 80's

Not yet anyway...

Havent had internet access for a while and just checking the posts.
Donga: c

dixon road in rockingham is the main route (and quickest) to get to rockingham city shopping center from Kwinana. Its not my problem that there was a gas leak at the time.

Plane Emergency: Of course i had my scanner for that and wanted to have a look just like all the other people there aswell as news crew. A copper from VH101 saw my scanner and didnt care if i had a look so long as i didnt get in the way or blocked the entry fence. They put it on the radio as well saw many people would have heard it that way and gone to have a look.

Gilmour Ave and VR106
Gimour Ave is the main road in Kwinana. Me and my manager had finished Close at Dominos and where headind home, i was dropping him off in leda on a street just off gilmoure when VR106 was coming down the road. I had my scanner that night as doing deliveries from 1630 till 2300 then cleaning the shop from 2300 till 0100 can be very boring even with music.

As hitman says, i can drive where ever i want too after close at work or anytime i feel like it.

The media and towies all go to jobs but you dont see them getting harassed for it.

Some members including myself even notify Turbo of news worthy jobs so as his crew can go to a scene.

So thats my response.

Now that's the most sensible idea I've heard in ages!!

But (trying) to be serious for a moment, as cool as that would be I know that I probably wouldn't make a good copper. I really don't think I'd be the right kind of person for the job. Oh well, such is life...

I rather keep at uni an earn between $80 000-110 000 a year as a Mine Site Geo than become a cop and cop shite from the public and go to squables. If their was a police unit that only went to the decent jobs ie offenders on, chases, raids, bomb threats etc etc then yeah but then again i think all cops would be in it than have to attend the everyday -29's -28's -17's -02's etc etc. Forensics would probably the only thing i would do in the police force but as iv heard there arn't many oppurtunities in that field as there are so many people trying to get into it.

There's the TRG but im presuming its hard to get in and that they dont attend many jobs.

There is a unit....MIG/79 Division, but unless you have been in a while and got the right attitude, you MIGHT get there. Perhaps even the potential to earn $80K+....especially if the boys get the pay they are asking for.

Hey walks, on the flip side, maybe the vehicle stop prevented the cop car later going on to have a 316 with a car. Maybe it didnt, how can u tell? Maybe the POI/'s where long gone and the cop car wouldnt have found them anyway, maybe that few minutes it took to check my car resulted in the cop car to cross paths with the POI/'s where as if they hadnt of- they wouldnt hav.

Like that movie, Sliding Doors , where that chick catches the train and then catches her bf cheating, then shows u that if she had of miss the train then she wouldnt have etc

What im trying to say is that no one knows wether the cops having to do a quick 2 min search of my vehicle prevented the POI/'s from getting away or not, its all what ifs (unless if you can see the future and know for certain that if they hadnt have checked my car the offenders would have been caught).

Thats my opinion
