Lucky for some, wish i could have flagged surgery.......

The worst thing of all, how quickly fitness levels plummet whilst your inactive, its like starting from scratch again. :(

Yeah, I stopped running for something like 3 months, it is very silly how quick you put on weight, especially when it's cold! :P

Couldn't agree more, even 2 weeks away from exercise can do it. GO back to the gym and wake up very sore.

i've recently put my application in and have my PEE in two weeks. I'm pretty nervous, yet strangely confident I can make it thru the whole process. Any tips or hints for anyone that has been through it?

expect the worst this beep test and the overall evaluation is to push you as hard as you can go and when you think youve had enough they'll hammer you some more.

Oh and you want to be able to have a flawless situp no moving feet no struggling nothing like that they walk down the line and its bam bam bam sit up sit up after situp

best of luck buddy

thanks antt. yeah ive practised the beep test and have made it up to level 14 before collapsing in a heap. im 20 and just worried that i will fail the psych because of the lack of 'life experience'.

with the beep test just get to the mark and stop, cause in the academy you have to constantly improve your score. As for the psych mate yeah life experience would help but if your focused on what you want and relate this well. they wont knock you back

but don't sell yourself short, if its what you want go for it, dont let anyone else tell you otherwise

you can do anything you set your mind to mate
