Hi Yorky, Police are classified as civillian and not millitary aircraft. How do can they get around this with no nav or anti collision lights on at night? I'm interested to see how they can do this.

No idea. I did hear it a while ago, and I have seen her flying with no visible lights previously BUT in that case I may have just been blind.

around about the 10:30am mark today i noticed a truck with an open top container with huuuuuge haulpac tires in it had either become wedged or had just struck the overpass of Leach HWY as he was passing under it on the Kwinana Fwy. Just as i was going by TE-xxx had just rolled up P2.....

i drove by a bit later on and noticed that a TE car had pulled another truck with the same load over BEFORE he could make the same mistake.... there were also a 'Mermaid' Transport Inspector on scene.....


I think this happened because trucks over 19m ong are no longer permitted on Leach Hwy between the FWY and Albany Hwy... so the truckie has done the right thing by getting on the freeway to go onto Roe Hwy.. but unfortunately his load was a little bit too tall....



not sure if thats exactly what happened but if anyone else can elaborate, please do,

It does fly without lights often, was doing the other night here circling above Ossie Park.

Heard a couple off cars P2 last night about 10pm dont know what or who sounded like a chase couldve been. Heard fesa 10mins later go in the same direction then sja coudlve been a crash possibly.
