I think that is what happened.

I was also listening to this channel last night and one of the first transmissions I heard was "we dont have the luxury of digital radios". Dont know the call sign of the car.

Report off some guy stealling a second hand washing machine in a shoping trolley from the loading dock of harvey norman malaga?Couple off guys jumping fences in forrestfeild. party at house at rear off.First i heard was a sighting of a unlisenced trail bike in forrestfeild also.No persuit.Was listerning to stirling security couple of weeks ago and they said IMU was on 9125 tonight.Got no idea what this means.Apart from the very rare local stuff.The only thing i pickup from Tuarthill is Wheatbelt IMU.Heard Moora cars booking on last night.

At a guess I would say that IMU was probably on channel 9125. I seem to remember that is Incident Management Unit... it all fades so fast :-(

Yes their is http://www.acma.gov.au The freq start of at about 502.000.Unfortunatly from what i understand it is what they call rolling encrypted.So even if you found a police mobile radio it would be locked closed with in hours of reported missing.If not less.Was talking to a member last year that was involved with the new coms.He said the network would be brocken but who knows when.
