Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
That's correct with the exception of Peel they don't use the AO call sign instead they use OM20X or OR20X for their traffic
Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Peel district traffic units are AO2XX. Rockingham/Kwinana (known as Peel Traffic North) are based out of Kwinana Police Station. Their vehicles are AO210 (FG sedan), AO211 (VE sedan), AO212 (unmarked VE sedan) and AO252 (VE wagon - crash). They cover north to Wattleup, east to Mundijong and south to Secret Harbour. Mandurah (Peel Traffic South) are based out of Mandurah Police Station. Their vehicles are AO201 (FG sedan), AO202 (FG sedan), AO203 (FG sedan) and AO204 (unmarked FG sedan). They cover north to Secret Harbour, east to Dwellingup and south to Lake Clifton.
Apparently these vehicles will be replaced with XR6s (non turbo) soon....

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Most Police vehicles have a 5 character alpha-numeric call sign, normally consisting of 2 letters and 3 numbers. For most station and District vehicles the standard protocol is 1st letter= District, 2nd letter= Station, 1st number= Category, 2nd+3rd number= Sub Category & vehicle number OR vehicle number.
Traffic vehicles are normally designated by the 1st number being a "2" (ie. xx 2xx).
Some metropolitan and most regional stations have Station Traffic vehicles. These are normally designated using the "Station code" then "2" (eg Mundaring Traffic = HX 2xx).
Most Districts also have District Traffic vehicles. These are normally designated with the 1st letter being "A" and the 2nd letter being the "District code", then the 1st number being "2" (eg. East Metro (Midland) Traffic = AH 2xx).
Major Crash vehicles are designated by the 2nd number being a "5" (eg. AH 25x).

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
I noticed the other day that it had gained a callsign (I dunno if it already had one but it's taken a while to put the stickers on, or if it's new).diggity wrote:Police concept car is TE200. Floating around the city

WT300 is the new gd's concept vehicle which is a Holden ute with a pod on the back like Vicpol use. I have some pics but don't know how to upload from my iPhone.
Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Seen today in Guildford a White Holden Cruze no markings or no beacons with 4 Police officers in it, could this be the Police Chaplin or a officer personal car?
Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Possibly a commissioned officers car. They could have been going to a meeting or similar.HL 101 wrote:Seen today in Guildford a White Holden Cruze no markings or no beacons with 4 Police officers in it, could this be the Police Chaplin or a officer personal car?
