Gidday - After weeks of searching and with help from Western Wedgy and others -
I have picked up on what I think is the main WAPOL frequency here in Kalgoorlie - Not sure of channel - but definatley the frequency...
468.275 - Best reception so far - so this would be the most clearest to hear...
458.775 - not bad reception - linked to the above - so yeah...
They have no VKI opperator here - If they need anything they call "Kalgoorlie Base this is KG-xxx" - so yeah - no enquiry channel just yet - but heard them on the main channel... keep you guys posted, see if anyone has any different ones...

468.275 - Channel 18 (City, Kalgoorlie, Pemberton, Pingelly, Wubin)
468.775 - Channel 38 (WA Wide Channel, Country - City Link)
You put 458.775 in your post but i think u meant 468.775
Cheers for your help
None of the "country" channels that are any reasonable distance from Perth are serviced by VKI.
Bunbury is the same, no enquiry channel, just "ey sarge you got a copy?"
"Bunbury base this is RB102"
They do all rego checks as well as dispatching jobs on the one channel normally.
It sounds like the second Kalgoorlie freq may be a linked repeater for Boulder or something like that? Just as a guess anyway, I haven't bothered to do any research into it.
