New TEG Cars

Post by westernwedgey »

According to recent reports WAPOL are getting 36 more bods and 5 more cars for the TEG.

These will be on the roads within a 400km radius of Perth by September.

This is in response to the recent horrible run of deaths on our roads and research that states 75% of fatals occur within a 400km radius of Perth.

So thats 5 more callsigns for the spreadsheet...

Its about the Police striking for better pay etc - Which i think they have every right to - risking there lives for less than what they should be getting.....

Basically they wont be fining people for minor offences. They will be issueing caution notices instead.

Sorry, is that a statement or a question?

If it's a question, then because I issued plenty today, and will continue to do so if people think (like one lady did today) that they can speed and indanger life and will be let off "cause we're on strike".

<sigh> Just proves that for some people safe driving is only about the risk of being caught, rather than doing the right thing...

Take it your not a union member then, but I bet you will be glad to put your hand out for the extra pay.....

Back your union, because let me tell you ( and I definately know) when you need them they will be there for you....

And it was a question, but after seeing your response its now a statement....
