Something is going on at Waneroo Rd, Tuart Hill. Police, Ambulance, Media at a block of units. Taped off entry to multi story units. Any one heard anything?

Police pursuit thru Rockingham at about 2145 (ish) tonight (25th). Unmarked WRX chasing road bike. Spotted on Ennis near Dixon. Don't know if they caught him...

It would have to be pretty extreme circumstances to excede 140km/hr as there aren't too many coppers who would be willing to risk that much for a pursuit... A pursuit does not allow any copper to excede 140km/hr, each chase is called on its merits...

The maximum allowable speed for any police officer in WA is 140km/h. So, if they were given a priority 1 (+40km/h) in a 110 zone, the max speed they would be allowed to go is still 140km/h.

However, all that changes when you travel to the US...... Just watching a pursuit on youtube with the officers still chasing at 240km/h

Yeah heard a brigade turning out to it this morning. The other car was a Corolla. Moral of the story: If you see a Toyota coming pull over!

Massive Police Chase for a couple of POIs - originated approximatley from Thomas Rd, headed south as far as Rocky and apprehended in Malaga, hell of a chase.
