police pack commodores are now being replaced by the sidi 3.0L. Goodbye
SV6's AND 3.6Litres! Crazy, i know! Most traffic units have since opted for an
all falcon fleet.

SV6 commodores will still exist with a SIDI motor im led to believe!. I may be wrong though. Apparently the SIDI motors are pretty amazing with fuel consumption/power... great step forward and have noticed all new WApol commodores are now SIDI..

Probably coz they were ordered before the decision was made to axe them.

They have been around a while now in the fleet - SIDI engine.

They should just about be all gone within 12 months...

Only MIG, TEG and the academy have turbos/sv6's at the moment. The academy are probably going to lose theirs first as they are getting rid of all of their unmarked cars too and moving to a fully marked standard fleet...

Hopefully they get rid of the 'high performance' cars and replace them with the 4WD hilux's - best vehicle they have had in a long time!
