AV206 just called in on 47 saying he can't get onto channel 30 or 25, the enquiry channels.
Operator says they should be up.

Yup. Perhaps just like happened in New Orleans... everything is controlled by a central computer. That computer goes down and all comms stop working.Donga wrote:When the police go digital is it likely in the event of a storm that the comms can go down like they have today?
The advantage of the WA Police system though is that the radios can still use analogue repeaters and talk digital amongst themselves whereas in New Orleans the radios only worked through the trunking system.
