It was my understanding that Walks (aka "Look ma I'm on The Force again!") is/was with MIG, unless they carry the shotgun in the little side container on the bike :lol:

let me ask u this:
1) why woulld TRG have WRX?
2) why wouddnt TEG officer have it instead
3) who has most crashes/damge reports outta TRG and TEG

i think TEG more likly the answer or even witness protection.
Why....... would witness protection get a WRX. Less eyebrow raising if it was a ordinary car bar the likes of say a Toyota Camry

'Walks' is no longer with MIG. Last we spoke he was at Rockingham (i think mostly driving a desk). I have met 'danny', he is with TEG (TE705).

Thanks for that A_E - I am pretty sure it was Danny who I spoke to - check out my pics in the Pictures section - I didn't take a photo of him, but he was booking "jaywalkers" before the Pageant started. Had a brief chat and said hi, but failed to ask if it was Danny....

Danny come on line lol :lol:

Hi there

Nope not me, only Highway Patrol bikes have their call signs on the side fairings, all other Police bikes dont.

The Highway Patrol bikes have the high visibility striping on them and decals 'Highway Patrol' on the panniers.

I think they did an awesome job - there was a fully marked car just outside the Government House (a fair distance away from where I was positioned) - and they were netting heaps of cars doing illegal U-Turns as St.Georges Tce heading towards Adelaide Tce - was reduced to one lane of traffic only... So from what I saw, they did an awesome job nabbing these guys..

Just to add fuel to the fire (not with an intention of malice), but as far as I'm concerned a person who breaks any law, is a "real" crook. No exceptions.
