Inquiries

Post by impdxn »

I've heard several times "No warrants, no inquiries". No warrants is easy, but what does no inquiries mean?

Hi pdxn,

I am assuming no inquiries mean that they are not wanted for questioning over a particular incident - ( i think) cause i reported a dangerous driver 2 months ago for nearly knocking down a cyclist, and heard on the scanner a lookout to be kept for that car - 3 hours later - police did pull this guy over and VKI said that there was no warrant but a inquiry into a near hit with a cyclist. So yeah ... I am sure someone will correct me if this is wrong.

That's what I figured it meant as well but I wasn't sure. Cheers.
