Also saw a new one last night in Northbridge. It was a Ford Econovan with callsign TL301.

It must be a new mobile lockup vehicle.

Very old Prisoner Transport vehicle back in the 'old' days when WAPOL did transfers...

Hi guys,

Just traveling yesterday through the Terrace (St.Georges) - and noticed a new AFP police car - Which was a marked VE Commodore - With Police written all over it - yet no stripping as such... - had Red and Blue Light Bar (but the eastern states rectangular ones) - just outside the Perth Concert hall - and 2 mike bikes dealing with something ...

Someone can help me:

0430 this morning on herdsman paradade witnessed a Ford Falcon station wagon in the UQ colour scheme screaming past us.

Havnt seen this before, is it new?

Before anyone ask's I was training [fitness] with an army mate who has just come back from oversea's....

And yes I am soaked to the bone now........

Gotta watch out for that lightning too. Its an electrifying experience.

They have had the wagon(s) for a while now at the 'ol UQ HQ. Though last I saw one/it was about 6 months/year ago. They usually use wagons for forensics and K9 etc though.

Just for robbage's info - MF-xxx - is the State Security - or other wise known as the Feds...

Neither - they have Federal Duristiction - and assist our VKI - if need be for "situations" like what I reported on at the Airport last Thursday night...

Sorry Mr G but state security no, AFP Airport Police yes.

Most are WAPOL officers seconded to the AFP so they still can enforce state statutes, pull cars over etc. They wear an AFP uniform.

There are pictures of their vehicle in the picture thread, they have the NSW lightbar and lighter blue checked markings again like NSW.

state security is looking after the P.M when he here and alen capenter.and assitant Pm and stuff..


state security gotnothing to do with looking after buildings sites
