How does WAPOL check the validity of interstate driver's licences?

i would imagine so , other wise they wouldnt be allound to be able to drive on WA roads , because it would be just as bad as having no plates at all

But how would they check it on the run, when they are in the field?

I believe their PSPs are bluetoothed to the MDT and they interrogate in that fashion.

Are you sure :?: if I had a $1 for every time I heard the radio operator here in Kal say they cant get up interstate rego's and stuff like that on IMS. Perhaps its just a country problem??

its not impossible to retrieve interstate details. Time is the problem with it thats all.

A system called NEVDIS.

Its a national registration database.

WA has been promised a program shortly to list the national database (ex the Northwest Shooting).

But at the moment there is no way of doing an 'on the run' check. The systems for each state aren't linked.

NEPI over here but that is for names only. Other than that as Walks said fax or email ICC and wait a couple of hours.
