A construction worker is in a serious condition in hospital today after being trapped under a bob cat for 45 minutes at a site in Shanklin Street in Wellard.
Emergency services received a call at 2pm this afternoon and it took two fire crews nearly half an hour to cut the man out from beneath the earth moving machine.
He has serious head injuries and was rushed to Perth after being initially admitted at Rockingham Hospital.

9th November 2007, 7:15 WST
A helicopter carrying a woman injured in a car roll-over in Sawyer’s Valley this morning has arrived at Royal Perth Hospital.
Ambulance officers said the woman was injured when the Suzuki sedan she was travelling in rolled over on the Great Eastern Highway about 80km north east of Perth about 5.30am today.
The accident happened near the intersection of the Highway and Lion Street.
