Vehicle last seen offroad, and they were still looking for it. Damn it's bloody hard to find out what's actually happening when you can't hear replies

vr106 was chasing 2 stolen vehicles down baldivis rd last night, one blue ute and a silver toyota aurion stolen from a place around palmyra only and hour or so before the chase, lasted only 15 seconds, were doing 140km/h before being told to abort re supervisor, vr106 extremely disappointed, the lady in vr106 got a bit fed up, cant blame her. Anyways, they folled, before eventually losing sight, tk109 joined the search, spotted again before losing sight. VR102 said that they might have had scanners on them. Anyways, the police were hanging around st albans, before being flagged down by the towies that live that way, the ute had crashed and the driver fled. Silver aurion got away, and so would the driver i presume. fell asleep, woke up later to hear 2 delta cars chasing a car in baldivis, different car, didnt hear the outcome though. I think the police need to review their persuit guidelines, the days of actually being able to persue is pretty much gone due to fear of repracusions if the driver kills himself etc, they need to take an american aproach, let it be up to cop driver weather or not to abort , and a lot more of the bad guys would be caught, too bad it'd only be for them to get a slap on the wrist as usual and be let go

TUESDAY NIGHT :

Traffic Enforcement Group police have detained and charged a 24 year old woman probationary driver following a pursuit that led officers through streets in Maylands, Mt Lawley and East Perth.

A police patrol speed-checked a Mazda sedan on Guildford Road around 7.30pm travelling at 81 kilometres an hour in a 60 kph zone and with lights and siren activated they attempted to stop the driver.

The sedan appeared to pull over and then accelerated away weaving through traffic and glancing off the curb while allegedly reaching speeds between 85kph and 90 kph.

At the intersection of East Parade and the Graham Farmer Freeway an officer stopped all the traffic and used the patrol vehicle to create a road block and signalled to the Mazda to stop.

The 24 year old probationary driver from Greenwood obeyed and she was apprehended and taken to the City Police Station for a breath test.

She will be summonsed with 1 X Fail to Stop, 1 X Dangerous Driving and 1 X Excess 0.08% and will appear in the Perth Magistrate’s Court at a later date.

Friday, while conducting for a training course at east perth cnr plain and wellington, while upstairs on 3rd floor, could see out of north side windows 13 highway patrol (HP) bikes under patio roof, 3 HP cars, 1 police escort 4 x 4 , and out front in smoke area was another escort 4 x 4 (this one has a large combination safe in back of it?, and 2 other 4 x 4 that seemed they had not been used for some time covered in leaves, one had a tri axle trailer behind it, seemed like steel box tube pipes on it, also not moved for some time and 2 normal cars also in that compound.

Assuming you were in the Main Roads building, then it's no surprise you saw lots of Police vehicles parked in the yard of the Traffic Branch Headquarters
