These aren't driven by sworn police officers anymore, just civilians.

Well toot toot im guessing when the Police 4WD has its lights and sirens on its a P2 what else would it be doing ? and yes it was a western power line escort.

Unless toot toot you have another code for a P2 :)

Anyone down south of the river may of seen it held up traffic for ages on stock road.

Even if they are not officers, are they trained in Urgent Duty Driving just like the Western Power driver definitely would be?
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

There would have to be some kind of pre-requisite to do it. Not any old Joe Blow can waltz in and drive a Police vehicle. And how do we know it didn't happen to be a Police Officer in it on this particular situation... We can't just assume :P

Confirmed JV is Canning Vale. Seen the photo shoot of the officers out the front of Canning Vale Station yesterday. And seen JV102 shoot past me today in Thornlie, just got a quick glimpse with the sun in my eyes, but I think it was a Falcon, but will confirm.
