Sorry if it has been covered before but I spotted 2 officers get out of a green (i think) unmarked Ford Territory the other week at a car v pedestrian.
Word from a source in Wapol tells me that they are testing a few different vehicles out, including the territories, pajeros and also the new hilux's. Hope this kind of helps.
Scroll down a bit in this thread and you shall see the lux. Is a definate trial vehicle, not sure of the rego, and it is fully marked as a WAPOL car, wonder where it will end up

The Portaloo on wheels comment in that thread was well justified
sorry guys been missing in action for a while (wife wants me to spend time with her, you know) anyway i saw a hilux like that at the domestic airport the other day (it was APS) looked better then the old 80 series utes with cage
Territories are a nice vehicle, but man, those brand new petrol hiluxes fly like you wouldn't believe.
The Hilux has come a very long way from being a gutless tray back piece of crap to a nice flash dual cab V6 with plenty of grunt. We have quite a few of them at work, I hopped in one of them one day and put my foot down, scared the hell out of me!!
We have a new Hilux dual cab with a custom designed Trade Mate on the back as a TV Production car. Has great pick-up and handles well compared to the Rodeo we had previously.
