Just heard UQ116 book onto ch21 heading towards ch54, which is a new call-sign for me.

It was on enquires so could be a plain vehicle.

My apologies to the person that posted this info a while back and I disagreed.

cheers

Has anyone been logging the Midland district callsigns and vehicles??

btw Lockridge station has been replaced by Kiara station (a couple of k's further down Morley Dve) but i believe they are still using the HL*** callsigns.

Albany, WA Cars...

LA-101, Marked 4WD Holden Rodeo
LA-102, Unmarked VZ Sedan (White)
LA-103, Marked 4WD Holden Rodeo
LA-104, Unmarked VZ Sedan (Red)
LA-105, Unmarked VZ Wagon
LA-106, Marked VZ Sedan
LA-107 & 108, Unmarked VZ Wagons

LA-201, Marked VY Wagon - G.D Markings, G.D Lightbar
LA-202, Unmarked VZ Sedan (Red)
LA-203, Marked VZ Sedan (White), HWP Markings
LA-204, Marked Holden SV6 (Silver), HWP Markings

In addition to these vehicles they use a green Subaru Forrester for the multanova camera. They also have 2 SOCO vehicles, both unmarked VZ Wagons (silver & gunmetal) and a new Nissan Patrol, not sure where that fits in.

Albany has a surprising number of unmarked vehicles and wagons. Elsewhere they are usually in the minority, especially the country.

Correct - probably because there's already "HK" callsigns allocated so it made sense to just leave it as "HL".

And if anyone cares - the old Lockridge police station building is no more. The last time I took the bus and train to work I noticed that the building, car park, etc had all gone...

Yep The Both Of Them are paddy wagons. 101 102 and 104 are the main tasking cars in the rocky area. As is VK103 in Kwinana
